The successful candidate will make strategic decisions ensuring the implementation of strategies in all layers of the organisation; establish a good relationship with all OMASI companies and ensure and stimulate team work between these companies and Orpul; ensure all health and safety requirements are met 

This position is based in Seminijiro District, Manyara Region

The successful candidate has a veterinary degree with a minimum of 5 years experience in a veterinary role, preferably at a slaughterhouse. Knowledge of FDTA and TBS regulations and standards is an advantage. 

The successful candidate will have:

* Proven experience in a managerial role 

* Ability to create a good relationship with stakeholders (beneficiaries, suppliers,consumers, government)

 * Ability to provide leadership to the staff

* Experience in forecasting and budgeting

 * Ability to establish and maintain policies and procedures around optimal hygiene
